As a gated residential property situated directly along the Gulf Coast, the community required fencing that would enhance security, define access points, and withstand the demanding coastal environment. Gateway Villas is a gated condominium community with 46 residential units overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

How We Handled A Complex Coastal Fence Project
The Gateway Villas project was not a single fence install. It was three coordinated installations across one property, each with its own specification, dimensions, and area of the site. The main run measured 275 linear feet of 6 ft. tall black 3-rail aluminum. A 42-foot section called for 4 ft. tall white commercial-grade 3-rail aluminum. And a smaller 8-foot section was specified as 4 ft. tall black 3-rail aluminum. Each section had to be planned individually but executed as one project, with the property staying accessible to residents throughout.
Aluminum fencing was the right material across all three sections for the same core reason: Fort Myers Beach is a barrier island, and coastal air takes a real toll on metal fencing that isn't built for the environment. Aluminum doesn't rust, the powder-coated finish stands up to UV exposure, and the material holds its appearance over years of salt air and seasonal weather. The 3-rail design also fits naturally with the visual character of condo properties on Estero Boulevard, where open sightlines and clean lines matter to the overall look.
