The project at Hendrick Honda required more than perimeter definition. As an active auto dealership on a busy Bradenton commercial corridor, the property needed fencing that could handle daily operations, support controlled vehicle access, and provide reliable inventory protection after hours. After walking the site with the dealership team, our crew planned a comprehensive install: 1,700 linear feet of 6 ft. tall 8-gauge black chain link with top rail and bottom coil wire, paired with a single 40-foot auto slide gate at the main access point.
Chain link fencing was the right choice for several reasons. The 8-gauge spec provides commercial-grade strength suited to a dealership environment, where the fence has to perform under daily stress and serve as a real deterrent at the perimeter. The top rail adds structural integrity across the full 1,700-foot run, and the bottom coil wire keeps the fence anchored cleanly to grade — important on a commercial site where inventory is positioned close to the fence line. Black vinyl was selected for visual appearance, providing a more refined commercial look than standard galvanized chain link.
The 40-foot auto slide gate is the operational centerpiece of the install. Auto dealerships move vehicles in and out throughout the day, and a manual gate of this size would be impractical for daily use.
