Project: 1,700 ft. of 6 ft. tall 8-Gauge Black Chain Link with Top Rail + Bottom Coil Wire, plus 1 Auto Slide Gate (40 ft.)
Location: 5904 SR 64 E, Bradenton, FL 34208
State Road 64 East in Bradenton is one of Manatee County's primary commercial corridors, and the auto dealerships along it deal with high-value inventory that needs real protection. Fencing for these properties has to do more than define a property line. At Hendrick Honda on SR 64, Eagle Fence completed a comprehensive commercial install: 1,700 feet of 8-gauge black chain link plus a 40-foot auto slide gate to handle the dealership's main entry.
Chain link is one of the most practical fencing choices for commercial properties along SR 64 and throughout Manatee County, and our team has installed it for dealerships, businesses, and industrial sites across the region. Contact Eagle Fence to discuss your project.
The project at Hendrick Honda required more than perimeter definition. As an active auto dealership on a busy Bradenton commercial corridor, the property needed fencing that could handle daily operations, support controlled vehicle access, and provide reliable inventory protection after hours. After walking the site with the dealership team, our crew planned a comprehensive install: 1,700 linear feet of 6 ft. tall 8-gauge black chain link with top rail and bottom coil wire, paired with a single 40-foot auto slide gate at the main access point.
Chain link fencing was the right choice for several reasons. The 8-gauge spec provides commercial-grade strength suited to a dealership environment, where the fence has to perform under daily stress and serve as a real deterrent at the perimeter. The top rail adds structural integrity across the full 1,700-foot run, and the bottom coil wire keeps the fence anchored cleanly to grade — important on a commercial site where inventory is positioned close to the fence line. The black color was selected for visual appearance, providing a more refined commercial look than standard galvanized chain link.
The 40-foot auto slide gate is the operational centerpiece of the install. Auto dealerships move vehicles in and out throughout the day, and a manual gate of this size would be impractical for daily use. The automated slide gate gives the Hendrick Honda team controlled access without slowing down operations, and the wide span accommodates inventory delivery trucks and customer vehicles without bottlenecking the entry. Eagle Fence has installed commercial fencing and gate systems throughout Bradenton and Manatee County since 1987, and that experience shaped every part of how we approached this project.
The materials selected for the Hendrick Honda installation were chosen specifically for the operational demands of an active auto dealership in Bradenton. Commercial-grade 8-gauge chain link was specified across the full perimeter, reinforced with top rail and bottom coil wire to deliver the structural integrity a dealership requires. A 40-foot automated slide gate completed the system at the main access point.
